Teamleader

The team leader is responsible for the efficient day-to-day operation of the department with particular emphasis on managing warehouse associates and implementing warehouse action plans. Establish and maintain procedures for meeting company and customer commitments; promote/implement continual improvement; training, motivation, and leadership within area of responsibility; conflict resolution; and enforcing company policies/procedures.

• Manages team performance continually; develops associates by providing training and coaching;
• Responsible to meet all operational KPI’s;
• Assigns duties and monitors work completion for accuracy;
• Maintains a safe work environment and fosters a positive team dynamic, resolving employee relations issues and administering corrective action as required;
• Lead start-up activities with cross functional teams;
• Responsible to make recommendations regarding hiring, terminating, performance evaluations, and promotions;
• Daily interaction with internal and external customer on operational level;
• Personnel scheduling to support all shifts and accounts, plan and organize staff workload;
• Maintain documentation of processes that are followed by the department;
• Train associates so an up to date understanding of processes, policies and procedures are maintained;
• Consciously dealing with the reduction of environmental impact in terms of waste, energy, water, and fuel consumption.
