Over de functie
We are looking for a Process Controller for an international logistics organisation in the Herten area. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring, managing and optimising the flow of goods within the warehouse. You will ensure that orders are released on time, tasks are allocated efficiently and logistics processes are seamlessly integrated. This will be a temporary job in the following period: week 28-36.
As a Process Controller, you are the link between the various logistics processes within the warehouse. You continuously monitor operational performance and make adjustments where necessary to optimise productivity and throughput.
Your duties will include:
- Monitoring Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Warehouse Control Systems (WCS);
- Releasing and planning orders for warehouse operations;
- Monitoring the workflow between replenishment, picking, packing and shipping;
- Analysing logistics processes and identifying bottlenecks;
- Implementing adjustments to planning, capacity and work allocation to achieve an optimal flow of goods;
- Managing order queues and ensuring a good balance within operations;
- Creating and managing waves within the warehouse management system;
- Actively contributing to process improvements and Lean initiatives;
- Collaborating with operational teams to continuously improve performance and efficiency.
The shift allowance is as follows:
- Monday - Friday:
- 00:00 – 06:00 45%
- 06:00 – 19:00 0%
- 19:00 – 21:00 25%
- 21:00 – 24:00 35%
- Saturday
- All hours 50%
- Sunday and Holidays
- All hours 100%

Wat wij vragen
- A completed vocational qualification (MBO), preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a similar field;
- At least 3 years’ experience in a logistics or operational environment;
- You are willing to work in 2 shifts (06.00 – 15.00 en 15.00 – 00.00) and possibly work on Saturday if neccesary;
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS);
- Knowledge of Lean Warehousing is an advantage;
- Good command of Dutch and English;
- Experience with logistics tools such as RF scanners is an advantage.
